Tag Customs, A division of Trotman Auto Group is currently seeking a full time Custom Installation Technician.

About the Role

We are the Leaders in South Surrey Langley for Off Road and Performance Vehicles. Lift Kits, Ground Effects, Winches, roof racks, lighting, exhaust, tires, wheels, we do it all. Flat rate and hourly positions available.

Schedule: Monday – Friday/ 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Remuneration: $25/h - $35/h + Opportunity for productivity and training bonus

Red Seal Certified: $35/h+ With opportunity for productivity and training bonus

Who You Are:

• Previous experience as an Accessory or Custom Installation technician role
• Pride in workmanship and confident in your abilities
• Experience with mounting and balancing off road/oversize wheels and tires is an asset
• Desire to exceed customer expectations with right attitude
• Exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English fluently
• Familiar with Suspension Lift Kit installs and off-road equipment
• Knowledge of aftermarket accessories and installation
• Well versed in electrical accessories installation (off-road lighting, winches, remote starts, Bluetooth kits, dash cams etc)
• Welding/Fabrication skills are an asset
• Works well in a small team
• Has the same passion for building and modifying vehicles as the rest of our team
• Ability to think “outside of the box” and modify parts when necessary
• Attention to detail and pride of workmanship
• Journeyman Red Seal Technician Certification

What Your Day Will Look Like:

• Ensures quality standards and meeting customer expectations daily
• Assembly and installation of a variety of accessories and components
• Complete assembly work in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations and project time estimates
• Document services and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records to ensure accuracy
• Review all work orders with the Manager and discuss any upgrades and additional sales to each vehicle entering the shop
• Maintain a clean safe workplace by complying with company policies
• Maintain all shop tools and equipment
• Demonstrate high levels of best practices and quality control
