Marketing Manager

About the role :

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the digital presence of the store/brand, including all promotional efforts, social media channels, digital advertising, and company events.


Compensation: $50,000 / year

Schedule : Full time (on-site)


What you will do:

    ·       Engage and share content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand identity.

    ·       Develop, implement, and roll out strategic marketing campaigns in cooperation with department managers and the dealer principal.

    ·       Create awareness, engagement, and brand recognition on Vancouver Island and beyond.

    ·       Organize and plan scheduled content on a month-to-month basis.

    ·       Follow social trends and execute on behalf of the store to increase brand visibility.

    ·       Write engaging copy for social captions and website content. 

    ·       Set up & optimize ads campaigns utilizing Meta Ads Suite & Google Ads Manager.

    ·       Create captivating graphics and thumbnails for videos, posts, and promotions.

    ·       Support in organizing company events such as fundraising galas, customer appreciation events, and other outreach events.

    ·       Manage and maintain the dealership's brand image, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all touchpoints.

    ·       Deploy monthly E-blasts utilizing our CRM with engaging copy, graphics. 

    ·       Collaborate with local businesses and non-profits on engagement projects.

    ·       Additional duties as assigned by management.


Who you are:

    ·       Conceptualizing, filming, and editing promotional video content in alignment with the brand voice.

    ·       Brainstorming innovative marketing strategies.

    ·       Proficiency in creator software such as the Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Meta Ads Manager, Google Business Manager, Google Ads, etc.

    ·       Understanding of ever-evolving main digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

    ·       An ability to lead and direct staff members in video content.

    ·       Keeps up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automotive marketing and apply insights to drive innovation and continuous improvement in marketing strategies.

    ·       Energetic, social, with a passion for people and building relationships in person and online.
