About the Role

Reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, the Warranty Administrator supports the Service Department in warranty compliance and processes and submits warranty claims in an efficient manner to ensure a high-level claim acceptance. The Warranty Administrator also coordinates and works effectively with other team members to resolve problems with warranty repair orders.

 

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday/ 8:00AM - 4:30PM 

Salary: $41,000 - $52,000

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Process and submit all warranty claims within the guidelines of FCA Canada
  • Remain abreast on manufacturer’s or supplier’s criteria when pertaining to warranty compliance
  • Help manage open work orders
  • Follow up on claims to obtain prompt payment
  • Analyze claims denied by the manufacturer and, if applicable resubmit as soon as possible or obtain authorization
  • Keep up-to-date on manufacturer’s recalls and bulletins
  • Reconcile warranty accounts and schedules as directed on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Assist and support Team Members regarding warranty compliance and process as necessary
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Data entry as directed
 

Who You Are:

  • Trade certificate in a related field is preferred
  • 2-5 years of work experience in the automotive industry
  • A proven track record of customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Numbers oriented, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Class 5 or 7 BC driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
