Automotive Warranty Administrator

Abbotsford Hyundai, part of Trotman Auto Group, is seeking an experienced automotive professional to join our team as a Warranty Administrator.
This is not an entry-level administrative or data-entry position.
The Warranty Administrator plays a critical role in Service Department profitability and requires a deep understanding of dealership operations, repair order workflow, technician labour operations, OEM warranty requirements, manufacturer compliance, and revenue recovery opportunities.
We are looking for someone who understands automotive repairs, warranty labour times, technician documentation, parts usage, warranty coding, and how to maximize warranty recovery while maintaining OEM compliance and minimizing chargebacks.

Candidates with direct OEM Warranty Administrator experience may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the range.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced automotive dealership professional with a strong understanding of Service Department operations, warranty processes, and OEM compliance.
To Be Considered, Candidates Must Possess One of the Following:
- 2+ years of Warranty Administrator experience within an OEM dealership environment
OR
- 3+ years of Senior Service Advisor experience within an OEM dealership
- 3+ years of Journeyman Automotive Technician experience within an OEM dealership
- 3+ years of 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Technician experience within an OEM dealership
- 3+ years of Shop Foreman, Dispatcher, or Tower Operator experience within an OEM dealership
Please note: Candidates without relevant dealership experience in one of the above capacities will not be considered.
Schedule: Full‑Time
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

What Your Day Will Look Like
- Review repair orders, technician stories, and supporting documentation for warranty eligibility
- Validate labour operations, coding, parts usage, and claim accuracy
- Process and submit warranty claims in accordance with OEM requirements
- Identify missed labour operations and reimbursement opportunities
- Work closely with Technicians, Service Advisors, Parts, and Management
- Follow up on denied claims and obtain required authorizations
- Monitor claim acceptance rates, warranty receivables, and chargebacks
- Support warranty audits and recovery initiatives
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures
- Stay current on recalls, campaigns, technical bulletins, and warranty policy changes
- Maintain detailed and accurate warranty records
- Help maximize warranty reimbursement while protecting dealership compliance
