About the Role
Reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, the Service Appointment Coordinator initiates automotive services and repairs by utilizing both phone and internet strategies.
Schedule: Full-Time;Monday - Friday
Wage: $19.00 per hour
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Efficiently help customers (internal and external) with the highest level of service
Effectively work with fellow employees to coordinate correct customer information as to accurately address any customer concerns
Respond to incoming customer requests via email, phone and text; verify and collect correct customer information
Utilize Dealer Management Systems to complete outbound phone calls, text or emails to clients to solicit and schedule future service appointments
Follow up and complete service inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion
Responsible for ensuring the customer data base is clean, accurate and up to date
Conducts after service follow up with customers by either email, text or a phone call
Generate reports to illustrate progress and effectiveness of campaigns and follow ups
Communicates customer feedback and concerns to all appropriate parties and supervisors and ensure all notes are documented in customer file
Facilitates and follows Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation procedures
Assists in all mail out/email campaigns, i.e. draft mail out letters, follow up calls to campaign list
Remains abreast on all manufacturer maintenance schedules, updates and outstanding recalls
Previous experience as an Automotive Appointment Coordinator is preferred but not required
A proven track record of success in customer service
Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid Class 5 or 7 BC driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
