Internet/Digital Sales Team Leader

Mainland Ford has an exciting opportunity for an Internet/Digital Sales Team Leader to join their team.

About the Role

Supported by the Sales Management Team, the Internet/Digital Sales Team Leader works directly with e-commerce leads in achieving sales departmental goals. This role will also assist in generating physical appointments for the Sales Department, whilst utilizing an online presence and increasing online and digital market share for the dealership.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverages data software & sales tools to review / compare data sets within CRM & make recommendations to drive sales
  • Builds / modifies reports & dashboards for sales, marketing, & dealership operations to assist in lead generation & sales data to make data-driven decisions
  • Supports lead generation such as Email / SMS campaigns, marketing automation, & general marketing plugins for CRM
  • Builds lists, segments, & deliverables to E-Commerce sales team
  • Achieves e-commerce departmental sales goals and objectives to ensure department profitability
  • Remains abreast on available inventory to optimize customer choice and inventory turn around
  • Ensures all e-commerce sales team members display and maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Responds to all incoming internet leads and maintains a service standard within the specified response time
  • Articulates vehicle selection, attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options, and dealership policies/services on website and to internal/external customers
  • Compiles and provides bi-weekly reporting on all e-commerce department performance metrics, including closing ratios, average response times, appointments booked, monitor actual to plan and other metrics as requested by the General Manager
  • Remains abreast on all product knowledge, finance options, promotions, value-add products/services, servicing plans, and industry trends
  • Manages customer issues and escalations in a timely and efficient manner that demonstrates a world class sales and service experience
  • Performs any additional duties as outlined by management


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year Automotive Sales experience or Internet Sales & related system experience is preferred
  • Must possess a valid VSA license
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
  • Tech Savvy – Proficient in Outlook, MS Office Applications, social media
